Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Desktop Support Engineer (Fresher) to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for providing basic technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and network-related issues. This role is ideal for freshers who are willing to learn and build their career in IT infrastructure and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Install and support Windows operating systems and basic applications.
- Configure email accounts, Outlook, and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi and basic network connectivity issues.
- Support users with password reset, software installation, and system access.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and update support records.
- Coordinate with senior engineers for issue escalation and resolution.
- Ensure timely response and support to end users.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of MS Office, Outlook, and antivirus software.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Graduation in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Hardware & Networking certification will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and remote support tools.
- Understanding of printers and peripheral devices.
- Knowledge of basic server and networking concepts is a plus.
