The Junior Video Editor is a vital member of our video production team, responsible for providing essential support to the senior video editor. The role involves tasks related to video editing,motion graphics , asset organization, creative development, and ensuring a smooth workflow in various projects. This role also presents an opportunity for growth, with a preference for candidates who have a basic understanding of the ability to create motion graphics, 2D animations, and visuals compositing, video and audio editing for video production and post production.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of video editing experience in video production agency or other relevant field.
- Proficiency in editing softwares, including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects(*mandatory).
- Familiarity with Canva, and other AI tools.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Audition.
- Skills in creating motion graphics,infographics, 2D & 2.5Danimations, and Visual compositing & 3D camera techniques using After Effects.
- Proficiency in video editing,color correction, audio editing, syncing, mixing, and mastering in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic design skills relevant to video production workflow.
- Proven Portfolio with previous videos in creating Social media informative promotional videos,Shorts,reels or other relevant.
- Proven Portfolio with previous videos in creating motion graphics,infographics & visual compositing in after effects.
- Understanding of Video Production Workflow.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and source elements and assets based on the given content script according to the guidelines provided by the senior editor.
- Efficiently organize media elements, meta-logging, and maintain a well-structured file system for projects in line with senior editor requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with senior video editors in video production to develop creative concepts and visual styles for various projects.
- Keep up with the latest industry trends to ensure that our content remains fresh and engaging.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills.
- Create short and long-form videos based on the provided content such as news & other informative videos.
- Edit Promotional informative Videos for social medias such as reels, Shorts or other relevant.
- Assist in re-editing long form videos for different languages projects.
- Assist in sound designing, editing, mixing, and mastering under the guidance of the senior editor.
- Support in rendering and publishing videos as directed.
- Seek feedback and mentoring from the senior editor to improve editing skills.
- Assist in the video production and post-production process as required by the senior video editor/director.
Bonus: Good understanding of the crypto industry is a bonus for this role.
